"Wow cool post thanks for sharing" was a copy-pasted comment originally made to protest non-gaming posts on a gaming page, IGN.
What amazes me is the virality of it outside of it's original purpose and it's fascinating mechanics of it: nobody explains what it is or why it is getting likes. This ambiguity makes it even more funnier.
Also, the exploitable structure of it, "Wow <insert any adjective here> post, thanks for <insert any verb here>" makes it very versatile and fit for almost any occasion.
If you ask me, Sociology and Human Psychology should include study of memes because there's a whole science to it.
